We have an immediate need for a full-time web developer. We are actively developing web sites for 7 mobilization ministries, each with a unique role in spreading God’s glory to the nations. Will be actively involved in the ongoing development of these sites as the ministries grow. Skills desired are Javascript, PHP, C#, ASP .NET, HTML, CSS. WordPress and Photoshop skills are a plus.
Mobile Application Developer
Seven mobilization ministries have plans for mobile applications to engage college students, professionals, campus ministry leaders and others in their role in the Great Commission. We have an immediate need for a skilled mobile app developer to bring these visions to reality. Will also have opportunities to contribute to other software and web development projects. Looking for a skilled developer for iOS, Android and Web Apps.
Systems Specialist
Do you love to help others? Come alongside our missions mobilizers and equip them with the technologies they need to have an impact. Part-time opening is available involving software testing, PC/network support, user training and webmaster.
Database Reporting and Programmer
Seeking a volunteer working remotely or at the national office to assist with creating reports, DB administration and programming. Skills desired are SQL, SQLServer, MySQL and C#.
Creative
Graphic Designer
Ready to apply your seasoned graphic design abilities to bigger challenges? Hungry for a job that goes beyond the surface? We’re looking for self-starters—designers who know how to drive content, lead small teams, and mentor others.
Videographer / Motion
Many skilled individuals are needed in the area of video and motion. Documentaries, promotional videos, and teaching videos are of critical importance to the growth of Perspectives, both in the USA program and around the world. Many team members are needed, including directors and story tellers, motion animators, editors, and skilled lighting and camera operators.
Copywriter
Responsible for writing copy for promotional materials that are used to promote the ministries including content that appears on websites. Work with the web designers and programmers to create a clear message for the ministry the website is promoting. May also be responsible for writing essay-style articles for print and digital newsletters.
Social Media Manager
With several ministries managing an online presence, the social media director helps each one effectively interact with their audience. This director will oversee the online mediums of social media, e-mail campaigns, and portions of the websites of the US Center for World Mission: Mobilization Division (including Perspectives Study Program, Perspectives Global, Children's Mobilization and Every Ethne). This role must be one of strategic planning and content writing – helping each ministry think through its interactions with its audience, employing the right tools for communication, assist in copy writing, and developing measurable statistics to analyze effectiveness.
Administration
Administrative Assistants
There are endless ways administrative assistants could contribute significantly working in the Perspectives Office. There are phones to answer, classes to track, coordinators to help, databases to collect, projects to assist with, orders to take and ship, data to enter, travel plans to organize, and much, much more. It is a behind-the-scenes role that is hands-on and rewarding.
Staff Accountant
With over $5 Million in annual revenue, the ministries of the Mobilization Division and Perspectives employees about 6 bookkeepers. A Chief Accountant is needed to oversee the financial accounting of each ministry, helping them to run more efficiently and be above reproach. The Staff Accountant will prepare monthly financial statements, oversee budgeting, and do some bookkeeping as well as oversee bookkeeping done by others. Managing relationships with key vendors, banking institutions, and researching appropriate federal, state, and international laws will also be required.
Human Resources
The Human Resources Director guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the different mobilization ministries. While many are involved in recruiting, the HR Directors helps new staff navigate through the recruitment stages, support raising process, on-boarding, and relocation. This role also includes oversight of benefits and staff development.
Perspectives Global Special Project Manager
Working with the Perspectives Global leadership team to plan and prepare for various Perspectives Global events such as the Perspectives Global Huddle and international promotional and training events. This role will also help recruit prayer for Perspectives Global programs such as helping to connect "sister-class" prayer partnerships (an example is some current classes in Australia and the Philippines are praying for each other).
Translation Coordinator for Perspectives Global
A project manager is needed to oversee Perspectives translation teams (Spanish, Chinese, Russian, etc.). This role will also entail following up on all issues related to obtaining rights and permissions to translate Perspectives Reader articles in various languages and determining best methods for international printing and distribution.
Education and Training
Academic Coordinator
We strongly believe that Perspectives should be offered for credit at most colleges, universities, and seminaries across the United States. Such a goal can only be accomplished by focusing on one institution at a time and working with those in the academic and curricula sphere to bring this about. We are looking for someone who has experience in the university setting to spearhead the effort to see Perspectives on or near many more university campuses.
Resource Coordinator
With an estimated 200 coordinators running classes each year and over 700 instructors, equipping them with the proper resources is vital to their success and the impact on the over 7000 students each year. Such resources might include creative academic review ideas, prayer for the nations, and enrichment activities. There is a huge need for someone to focus on resource compilation, review, and development. This would involve compiling and reviewing resources from coordinators and agencies to include in our resource database. It might also involve creating new resources so each person involved in Perspectives is well equipped.
Instructor Development
With a growing number of instructors in our national database and hundreds more who teach locally around the country (totaling over 1,000 instructors), there is a need for someone to focus on equipping and tracking with them specifically. This might involve recruiting and screening new potential instructors, as well as providing resources to help current instructors. In addition, gathering and posting information from instructors for their profiles in the system, along with tracking performance and evaluations received from students and coordinators might be part of this role.
Curriculum Development Specialist
A person specialized in curriculum development could make huge contributions to Perspectives. We run a college level course, with a large number of students who are both college-aged and adult learners. This broad spectrum of students requires skilled educational approaches to maximize the learning experience for all students. This role could encompass things from textbook revision to quiz, test, and project development, and from strengthening our adult education practices to improving our classroom enrichment activities.
Networking
Campus Ministry Coordinator
A natural compliment to seeing more colleges and universities offer or accept Perspectives for credit is the goal of seeing many more college students in Perspectives classes. This also requires focused attention and would involve developing relationships with campus ministry leaders and making Perspectives part of their message and challenge to college students. We need someone with a heart for mobilizing college students to undertake this campaign that could literally revolutionize missions in the next decade.
Agency Relations
In the last year, Perspectives has been developing partnerships with key mission agencies, connectors, and mobilization groups whose aim is to see God's kingdom extended to the unreached areas. This requires someone with good people skills and phone manners to continue developing, maintaining and strengthening these relationships and new ones with agencies across the country. It would also involve recruiting furloughing or returning missionaries from those groups to teach in Perspectives, thus increasing our instructor pool to keep up with the growing number of classes.
