Task Force Roles
Putting on a Perspectives class is a team effort! Every coordinator needs a group of dedicated team members doing their part to put on a successful class. There are a number of ways to serve the local Perspectives movement. Here is a quick look at the different Task Force (volunteer) Roles that every Perspectives class needs to have filled before running a class. Check out this list and see if there is a role that fits your skills and abilities and your heart to serve.
Do any of these roles fit you? Join the team! Contact your local coordinator (find a class in your area) or use this form to volunteer to help with the next Perspectives Class in your area.
Coordinator: The point person for the local Perspectives team. This person works behind the scenes to provide leadership and oversee everything the task force is doing, and may need to fill some of the other roles. This role requires training from a Perspectives Coordinator Workshop.
Facilitator: Someone with pastor/teacher/encourager giftings to motivate and mentor students along will fit well in this role. This person will facilitate the class and be the main one interacting with students.
Grading Supervisor: This person will oversee and teach graders the grading system and work with the professor of record.
Administrator: This role needs someone with administrative giftings to pull together finances, logistics and other class details. This person should be comfortable with e-mail and using the internet.

Hospitality: This role needs someone who can oversee the supply and set up for the class snack/break time
Operations: This person would oversee the facility operations and instructor a/v needs during class
