A Ministry of the US Center for World Mission
Perspectives is a ministry of the US Center for World Mission, a non-denominational ministry that exists to enhance the effectiveness of the mission movement among the world’s least reached peoples. It is specifically part of the Mobilization Division, of the US Center for World Mission based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Global Perspectives
Perspectives originated in the U.S.A., but many countries have developed their own Perspectives programs, such as South Korea, Australia, India, and others. They are all served by the Perspectives Global Service Office.
Doctrine:
We affirm the Lausanne Covenant statement. We ask our instructors and volunteers to keep the course and teachings focused on mainstream evangelical teaching and purposefully avoid controversial issues of predestination, eschatology, spiritual gifts, etc. At the same time, with over 2,000 instructors, we do value the multiple ‘perspectives’ instructors bring to the teaching. We try not to have more than 3 instructors from any single denomination or ministry, so that a single ‘perspective’ does not dominate the course. Instructors are also guided in their core teaching by the content of the Reader.
