What is the PERSPECTIVES Family?
There are two ways to understand the PERSPECTIVES Family.
First it represents a broad partnership of PERSPECTIVES advocates who have signed the PERSPECTIVES Family Covenant.
Secondly, the PERSPECTIVES Family of resources refers to a collection of books, courses, curricula and resources that have been accepted into the PERSPECTIVES Family.
What does it mean if a book or resources shows the PERSPECTIVES Family insignia?
The Institute of International Studies (IIS) has officially recognized any item that displays the PERSPECTIVES Family insignia. This prestigious distinction means that the resource accurately represents the PERSPECTIVES Core Ideas and advances the global purposes of PERSPECTIVES .
Is a PERSPECTIVES Family resource the same as the PERSPECTIVES course?
No. There is one PERSPECTIVES course and it is called PERSPECTIVES on the World Christian Movement. This is also referred to as the Standard Curriculum. The Standard Curriculum appears in multiple languages.
Other PERSPECTIVES Family resources contain some of the content that is found in PERSPECTIVES , but not all of it.
Is PERSPECTIVES offered where I live?
In North America, you can check at www.perspectives.org to determine if a class is offered in your area. Outside of North America, please email global@perspectives.org to find out where the nearest class is offered.
Can I initiate a PERSPECTIVES program in my country or city?
This is a very exciting prospect! It somewhat depends upon whether there is already a PERSPECTIVES presence in your area. You can find out my emailing global@perspectives.org. If there is not already someone utilizing PERSPECTIVES nearby, then please contact us! There may be a possibility of developing a new venture.
Can I translate PERSPECTIVES into my (or any other) language?
Translation efforts always need to be officially approved and commissioned by the Institute of International Studies. Inquiries are welcome and please email global@perspectives.org for more information.

What is the Institute of International Studies?
The Institute of International Studies (IIS) started PERSPECTIVES in 1980. It provides general oversight to the PERSPECTIVES Study Program - North America as well as the PERSPECTIVES Family.
Is the PERSPECTIVES Family the same as the PERSPECTIVES Study Program - North America?
No. The PERSPECTIVES Study Program - North America only serves PERSPECTIVES in North America. More specifically, it works exclusively with the Standard Curriculum…that is the English version of PERSPECTIVES on the World Christian Movement. Visit www.perspectives.org for more information.
The PERSPECTIVES Family serves PERSPECTIVES outside of North America as well as Specialized Curricula internationally. http://www.perspectives.org/family has more information.
